Who has not been on seaside, walking by the rocks and has sat down to rest in one of them then think and realize that this rock is so comfortable that anyone could stay there for the rest of the day? The rock is not designed, so is it there only to exist? Probably because we are the ones who artificially grant logics to our surroundings permanently interpreting forms and functions designating artifacts that in an assumption facilitate our actions. These ideas and interpretation fields are part of the motivations and objectives of the serie Diffuse Monoliths. This series of objects that incorporate an elastic and interpretable perceptual logic, is inserted in an intermediate space, between the sculpture and the furniture, offering diverse meanings articulated by ambiguous and undefined objects.
