First collaboration for .Decimal lighting company The .001 lamp we have designed is an answer to set up a luminous body rather than a basic and standard lighting screen. To built a clear path to shape this object, we have distinguished and worked out some specific concepts that seem essential to us in any object that inhabits the design and art field, such as the shape, the matter, functionality and, finally, the physical condition and attributes of light. This method is what allowed us to obtain a dynamic, asymmetrical and organic design, full of details, where the material and its shape are on duty of the illumination and to the aesthetic condition of the object as well. The design of this luminous object its an answer for two specific instances: Off and inactive, where its formal condition and shape gives a tremendously sculptural result, with an ambiguous esthetic. Lighted and active, it adopts conditions that allow us to relate in a different way with the object, delivering a kind of light that defines some moments and spaces in a very gentle and delicate way.
